In 2012, the AJS Women’s Caucus commissioned a history of the organization in memory of Paula E. Hyman, scholar, feminist, and active member of the group. Rachael Kamel, a doctoral candidate at Temple University, was selected to create the project. Through oral histories with several founders of the Women’s Caucus and many of its past co-chairs, and an investigation into surviving archival records of the group, Kamel created the attached history, which is available for downloading free of charge.
